The death of Miss Evelyn Léger of Memramcook East occurred at Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital, Moncton, Sunday after a lengthy illness. She was 60.
Born at Sackville she was a daughter of Mrs. Sarah Jane (LeBlanc) Léger and the late Blair Léger. She was employed at Moncton Publishing Co. Ltd. for several years.
Besides her mother, she is survived by five brothers, Patrice and Robert, both of Aboujagane, Cedric of Shediac, Laurie of Moncton and Léo of Montreal; five sisters, Mrs. Aldéric LeBlanc (Thelma) of New Hampshire, Mrs. Alban Blanchard (Corinne) of Caraquet, Mrs. Sam Richard (Louise) of Aboujagane, Mrs. Léo Dupuis (Lorraine) and Elizabeth. both of Memramcook East.
The body is resting at Dupuis' Funeral Home, Memramcook. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. from Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church. Interment will be in the family lot in the parish cemetery.
